This version of the Ageing Well Toolkit supports the intention of Essex County Council to introduce a Kite Mark for providers who can demonstrate a specific ability to support adults with Learning Disabilities and /or Autism who have changing needs as they age.  

In working to support adults who are ageing and who have Learning Disabilities and /or Autism Essex County Council are fulfilling their duties under the Autism Act 2009 & Care Act 2014.

The Toolkit is to be read in conjunction with Essex County Council Core Practice Guidance which can be found on the Practice Library.
