Bob Fortt, Prevent & Protect officer from Essex Police’s Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking team are offering this session to providers across Essex.

This session aims to teach you how to identify, address and prevent modern slavery across the care workforce.

The training will be delivered on the 9^th April from 10:00 – 12:00 via MS Teams and is aimed at all staff. 

An overview of this training is as follows: 

·       Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Overview 

·       Types of exploitation 

·       Signs of exploitation 

·       Victim barriers 

·       National Referral Mechanism/reporting concerns 

The session will start promptly at 10:00am. please arrive early to allow time for registration. Attendees will not be permitted entry once the session has started.
