Essex County Council's Care Market Offer

Essex County Council are working in partnership with Care England on a wide number of initiatives. This is to support the Care Sector Nationally and within the County of Essex. 

There are a number of opportunities, offers designed to assist the care sector in dealing with current and/or future challenges. Among the below there are themes of which we are looking to create focus groups to provide further insight. We welcome providers to step forward to join pilot schemes with the overall aim to deliver efficiencies and savings. 

To progress further in our offer we are looking to obtain views and insight from providers, so we may find out the specific areas the Care Market would like to see offers/discounts/support in. Our Citizen Insight platform has a short survey to assist us.

FREE ENERGY RENEWAL

BENCHMARKING REVIEW via Care England

We are troubled by the unnecessarily high energy renewals rates offered to care providers, often by their existing energy supplier, and have seen too many situations where care providers are being blatantly overcharged, incurring penalties, excessive VAT and seeing incorrect discounts applied.  Too often providers are renewing their contracts with existing energy suppliers at extortionate and unnecessarily high renewal rates favouring energy brokers and some energy suppliers.

Care England has therefore established a FREE services to help all care providers have their renewals checked by a professional energy consultant to verify if they are being charged correctly (subject to availability).

 

If you wish to be considered for a future Care England energy tender, please contact Care England to find out how other care providers have benefitted and to register an interest.

Creed Food Service

Care England have been working in collaboration with Creed food service. As a supplier of wholesale food they are keen to expand their business model within the county of Essex. 

They are looking to run a pilot in a food delivery network, we are looking for 25 providers who would be willing to sign up to test and trail this exciting initiative.
