Protests in Epping Forest

Update: 24 July - we have confirmation that a dispersal order is being put in place covering much of Epping from 2pm today until 8am on Friday

You may be aware of recent protests in the Epping area last Sunday – and we have confirmation of further protests anticipated on Thursday 24 July and Sunday 27 July.  ECC is closely monitoring the situation in collaboration with Essex Police, the Home Office, Epping Forest District Council and other partner agencies and we will continue to share updates and guidance from Essex Police. We assure you your safety is our priority.

If your staff work in or around the CM16 area supporting our services and residents – they may see potential disruption. Use Essex Police channels for real-time updates - and please use the Employee Assistance Programme if you need any support. If you witness or experience any form of hate crime, please know that support is available and you can report it safely and confidentially here.
