New campaign: Recognising domestic abuse in later life (1)

ECC has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of domestic abuse in older adults. For those of you who are practitioners you’re in a unique position where you build trusted relationships with the people you support, which means you might be the first to notice when something doesn’t feel right. Here’s how you can help:

• Stay alert to the signs of abuse when working with older people
• Take a look at the SETDAB resources which include practical advice and links to confidential support services
• Support the campaign by sharing the Essex County Council social media posts to help spread the word and keep the conversation going.
