Free Frailty Study Day for supporting staff - West Essex

The OPEL Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow is offering free frailty training for care homes in February. 

The training will cover the following topics:

• Understanding frailty
• Frailty assessment (lying and standing BP, ECG, bladder scan – theory and practical)
• Delirium – advocating and communicating for a frail patient
• Falls and deconditioning
• End-of-life care
