Expressions of Interest: Join our focus group meeting on Cost of Care, Pricing and Uplifts

As part of ECC’s continuing engagement activity with care providers, we are inviting providers to register their interest in the following focus group meetings:

Focus Group Meeting: Cost of Care, Pricing and Uplifts

Location: Central Baptist Church, Chelmsford 

Date:
Group 1 - 23 September 2025 for Community Based Services

Group 2 - 24 September 2025 for Residential Based Services

Focus Group 1: 10am to 12pm (arrive from 9:30am) (Community Based Services, including Live at Home and Supported Living)

Focus Group 2: 12:30pm to 2:30pm (arrive from 12pm) (Accommodation Based Services, including Integrated Residential and Nursing and AWD Residential)

To reserve a place please complete the Expression of Interest Form the deadline to submit at Expression of Interest Form is Friday 19 September.

ECC and ECA will be holding 2 in person focus groups with representatives from the Essex care market to share its current approach and thinking and seek input on:

1. Cost of Care
2. Contractual pricing models
3. Approach to uplifts/ inflation in 2025/26 (please note the 2026/27 uplift amounts have not yet been agreed)

Places will be limited, so expressions of interest will be vetted by ECA and ECC to ensure there is fair representation across the care provider market.

If you are not invited to attend the focus group, you will be able to feed in your thoughts in advance to ECA who will be able to make representations on your behalf.

Alternatively, slides will be shared following on from the focus sessions, so organisations will also be able to share thoughts at this stage.
