Evaluation of the International Recruitment Fund 2024-25
Recruitment and retention of international care workers in adult social care
The Government has committed to different ways of supporting international recruitment and the retention of workers in adult social care to help ease workforce pressures. This includes the International Recruitment Fund 2024-25 which has provided additional funding to regional hubs across England.
Researchers at King’s College London have been commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care to carry out an independent evaluation of support provided through this Fund and would like to speak to care providers with recent experience of international recruitment including direct recruitment from overseas or international workers already in the UK. They are particularly interested in hearing from employers who have sponsored displaced international workers.
Conversations will take place online and in strict confidence and last about 45 minutes but can be shorter.
