Essex Working Well – workplace health, done right

Essex Working Well is commissioned by Essex County Council and provides organisations across Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock) with free workplace health and wellbeing support.

There are three programmes available - Working Well Accreditation, Small Business Workplace Wellbeing Award, and a Mental Health Awareness Programme – helping organisations to develop and implement wellbeing policies, strategies, and initiatives and embed mental health awareness.

As part of these programmes, organisations can access free Mental Health First Aid England training, as well as other training and resources, stop smoking support and workplace health checks. There’s also mindfulness courses and monthly guest speaker sessions covering a variety of health and wellbeing topics and the local support and services available, including carers support, long-term conditions, disabilities, neurodiversity, and financial wellbeing.
