Learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs): New Courses and Training
Two new courses are on offer which were developed as a result of key SAR learnings. We encourage professionals in safeguarding to access these courses to further their education and understanding.
Legal Literacy Workshop
This , one-day virtual workshop focusses on the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act and other pieces of relevant legislation. It covers mental capacity, fluctuating capacity and will equip attendees with confidence in interpreting and understanding these legislations.
Professional Curiosity and Difficult Conversations
This virtual, half day course explores the concept of professional curiosity within the context of adult safeguarding. It opens discussions on professional attitudes, learnings from SARS and the challenges of having difficult conversations.

This virtual, one-day course is aimed at all professionals who take the lead for safeguarding adults in their organisation.
Introduction to Adult Safeguarding (previously 'Safeguarding Adult Basic Awareness')
The virtual, half day course gives you understanding of relevant policies, signs and symptoms, and how to report any concerns.
