Domiciliary providers - Energy efficiency grants and support

If you provide care to someone who is struggling to keep their house warm or is worried about heating costs, there may be support. ECC have appointed Better Housing, Better Health (BHBH) to deliver a government backed grant (EC04) aimed at low income households to help improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

The service is free, impartial and confidential for all residents of Essex facing issues with their energy bills and keeping warm at home. Anyone can make a referral, either online Make a Referral - Better Housing Better Health or by calling 0800 107 0044.
