Awareness: care sector targeted for research and development (R&D) tax relief claims

Unfortunately the care sector is one of those most often targeted by less scrupulous agents or third parties, and as such, management teams need to do careful diligence before engaging with an advisor to help them prepare R&D claims.

We encourage anyone considering pursuing R&D tax credits, to take financial/tax accountancy and legal advice to ensure being sufficiently protected should HMRC seek to investigate or reclaim any payments made for R&D tax credits.
