Everyone should have equal opportunity to access high quality care that meets their individual needs and people should not be treated unfairly or disadvantaged because of their background, culture or physical or mental health. This half day course will give you an understanding of the relevant legislation as well as give you the knowledge and skills to promote equality, diversity and inclusion for both service users and staff.

The course will give you an understanding of cultural diversity and a greater appreciation and value of differences. You will gain the knowledge and skills to promote cultural diversity back in the workplace benefiting staff, service users and the wider community and world at large.

Course objectives:

To give managers and employees at all levels in an organisation an understanding of the key issues and individual responsibilities in promoting a positive approach to equal opportunities and diversity and an understanding of Cultural divesity as well as the knowledge to promote and embrace cultural diversity in the workplace.
