Dealing with behaviours that challenge is probably the most challenging aspect of work. This bite-sized, 1hr Virtual workshop will provide delegates with a framework and a number of strategies and practical tools and techniques for dealing with a wide range of challenging and difficult situations.   

Course outline: 

• understand the reasons for challenging and difficult behaviour  
• understand the link between behavioural responses and outcomes   
• understand the link between emotional intelligence and positive outcomes 

• Know how to use the ABC model – functional analysis 
• have a workable communications framework for managing challenging behaviour 
• be able to use a number of different approaches to match the needs of the situation 
• demonstrate improved confidence in dealing with challenging people
