Digital Champions

A dedicated role that will ultimately aid the embedding of TEC into every assessment to enable TEC to be prescribed where appropriate as part of a Care package. A Digital Champion is an Ambassador for TEC and is responsible reinforce the message think Digital always in their through their conduct. The digital champion will always have support from the TEC Transformation Officers. The responsibilities of the a Digital Champions are to:

• Direct your colleagues in the first instance to the resources provided by Millbrook such as the self assessment tool, E Learning or the Public Library
• Support your team, as well as other teams in your area, in making decisions on TEC to support their service user’s care needs.
• Support colleagues in making non-standard and special orders.
• Support colleagues in completing TEC questions within Mosaic, Cares and Benefits Realisation Tool
• Keep up to date with the latest goings on in the world of Technology Enabled Care.
• Keep colleagues informed of Inclusive Communication Essex (ICE) updates.
• Cascade TEC communications to your colleagues, using appropriate forums at appropriate frequencies to ensure timely dissemination.
• Attending all Digital Champion events, training and awareness sessions.
• Help collect TEC Case studies from your area.
• Provide input to TEC team and Service Providers to increase adoption of TEC into all assessments.
